A cookie is a small file a site can store on your device. Asia Hotelier uses one measurement cookie. It does not follow you around the web to sell advertising, and it does not build a marketing profile.
What we set
Google Analytics. Google sets a cookie so we can count visits, see which pages are read, and see roughly where readers are. The measurement ID is G-79HMVMHG8N. We do not use those numbers to advertise, and we do not sell them.
Reading a page, searching the site and opening a story do not require an account cookie. The newsletter form and the contact form do not store a tracking cookie of their own. Type on the site is served from our own files, not from a third-party font service.
The host that delivers the pages may use a strictly necessary cookie or a similar short-lived record so the site can load and stay secure. That is not used for advertising.
What we do not set
- No advertising or retargeting cookies
- No social-media pixels on the page
Share links to LinkedIn, X, Facebook and YouTube are ordinary links. Those sites can set their own cookies only after you choose to leave asiahotelier.com.
Images
Photographs load from media.asiahotelier.com. That request fetches the image. It is not an advertising network.
Your browser
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The pages still read normally. Blocking Google's cookie means that visit is not counted.
If this changes
If we add another measurement tool, this page will name it, and it will say what you can refuse. The date at the side of this page will change with it.
