What the journalism is
News is reporting. Insights are analysis. Awards explain the criteria used to judge them. A figure is published with its source. The site is not legal advice, investment advice, or a recommendation to buy, sell or develop a hotel.
Commercial work is labelled. It does not change what a story says, and it does not buy a place in a ranking. Partnership terms are separate and are agreed in writing.
If a fact is wrong, use the corrections process. Material corrections are noted on the story.
Jobs
A listing is the hiring company’s role, published here so readers can find it. Asia Hotelier is not the employer, does not decide who is hired, and is not a party to any offer. Apply through the link or address on the listing.
Material you send us
If you send a tip, a correction, a photograph or a partnership note, you confirm you have the right to send it. We may use a tip to report a story. We will not present your private email as if it were a published comment.
Our material
Stories, design, the wordmark and the selection of photographs are owned by Asia Hotelier or used with permission. Photograph credits describe the picture. They are not a licence for you to reuse it.
Liability
We take care to be accurate and to say when a number has a source. Markets move, and a story can be overtaken. You are responsible for decisions you make from a story, a ranking, a data note or a job listing.
Links to other sites are there for reference. Those sites are responsible for their own content and their own privacy rules.
To the extent the law allows, Asia Hotelier is not liable for loss of profit, a hiring decision, or an investment decision that follows from use of the site.
