Annova Nha Trang Hotel is a 463-room, five-star city hotel at 05 Ly Tu Trong Street in central Nha Trang, 150 metres back from the beach. It rises 39 floors and, according to the hotel, officially began operating in June 2024. The owner is Hoang An Nha Trang Co., Ltd, a Khanh Hoa company that also runs the hotel; we found no international brand or management contract. For owners comparing Nha Trang inventory, Annova is the clearest recent example of a large, independent five-star built for the city’s group and leisure volume rather than for a global brand’s loyalty base.

Owner and operator

The owning company is Hoang An Nha Trang Co., Ltd. Its business licence, number 4201730010, was first issued by the Khanh Hoa Department of Planning and Investment on 8 March 2017, according to the hotel’s own legal notice. The hotel names Hoàng Thị Minh as director and legal representative.

The hotel credits the concept to Thái Khắc Việt, chairman of the company’s members’ council. It describes him as an overseas Vietnamese with almost 40 years in construction and accommodation in Europe. We could not verify that background independently.

Role Name Source
Chairman of the members’ council Thái Khắc Việt Hotel, five-star announcement
Director and legal representative Hoàng Thị Minh Hotel legal notice
General manager (Tổng Quản Lý) Nguyễn Thị Thương Hotel, five-star announcement
Former general manager Dương Thanh Phương Hotel, five-star announcement

There is no international brand, franchise or soft-brand affiliation on the hotel’s website or in the reports we found, so we describe Annova as owner-operated.

Rooms and facilities

Rooms

463 rooms in 17 categories, including family, group and VIP rooms. The hotel says 98% have a private balcony. The national register gives 463 rooms; one tourism portal reported 462 at the five-star ceremony. We use 463.

Food and beverage

Outlet Floor Concept
Aria Lounge Cafe 1st Lobby café
Stellar Restaurant 2nd Buffet
Noori Restaurant 3rd Asian and European
Sea Lavie Bar 6th Pool bar
Mo.re VIP Restaurant 28th Private dining, about 100 guests a sitting, plus VIP rooms for 10–50
The 39 Sky Lounge & Dining 39th Rooftop lounge and dining, 120–150 guests

Six outlets, two of them built for private and group dining, tell you who the hotel is built for: groups, families and local banqueting as well as leisure guests.

Meetings and events

Room Floor Size Theatre Banquet Classroom U-shape
Luminary Grand Ballroom 4th 300 m² 200 180 140 110
Savoy I 4th 70 m² 60 40 40 30
Savoy II 4th n/a about 50 n/a n/a n/a

Figures are from the hotel’s current event pages. An earlier hotel page gave the ballroom as 248 m² for up to 270 guests; we use the current figures. The hotel did not publish full dimensions for Savoy II.

Leisure

Adult and children’s pools and a gym on the 6th floor, a spa, a kids club, karaoke and an electronic gaming area, according to the hotel. Guests also have use of a private beach area on the city beach. There is basement parking.

Location

The hotel is on Ly Tu Trong Street, one block behind Tran Phu and the city beach. It is about 450 metres from 2/4 Square and Tram Huong Tower, and opposite the Lotte, Nha Trang Center and Vincom malls, according to the hotel. After Vietnam’s 2025 local-government reform, the address is Nha Trang Ward, Khanh Hoa; the register and older listings use Loc Tho Ward, Nha Trang City.

Annova’s direct competition is the big city hotels along Tran Phu, not the island resorts. In our hotel database, built from the national register, Nha Trang city has 24 five-star hotels, 22 of them with published room counts. Their median is about 306 rooms. Only seven have 400 rooms or more, and Annova, at 463, is the fifth-largest.

Five-star hotels in Nha Trang city by number of rooms

Takeaway: half of Nha Trang’s five-star city hotels have fewer than 300 rooms, so a 463-room independent competes for group volume with the Vinpearl and Premier Havana towers, not with the boutique five-stars.

Hotel Rooms Brand affiliation
Meliá Vinpearl Nha Trang Empire 1,221 Vinpearl, affiliated by Meliá
Premier Havana Nha Trang 1,068 No international brand
Vinpearl Beachfront Nha Trang 895 Vinpearl
Regalia Gold 881 No international brand
Annova Nha Trang Hotel 463 Independent
Muong Thanh Luxury Nha Trang 458 Muong Thanh
The Empyrean Nha Trang 450 No international brand

Recent news

  • June 2024: official start of operations, according to the hotel. A booking site lists 2023, and a tourism portal said in December 2024 that the hotel had been trading for “more than a year”, so it may have soft-opened earlier.
  • 7 December 2024: five-star plaque ceremony, after recognition by the Vietnam National Authority of Tourism. Khanh Hoa’s tourism director, Nguyễn Thị Lệ Thanh, attended.
  • November 2025: the hotel says it gave VND 376 million and 830 kg of rice to staff affected by the floods in Khanh Hoa.
  • 9 July 2026: the hotel says it was named a “Top Choice Tourist Establishment for Business Travelers” at the VITA Awards 2025.

We found no news of a sale, a brand deal or a change of operator as of 8 October 2026. Trading conditions in the city are covered in our Nha Trang tourism report.

What it means for owners and operators

1. Scale without a brand is a distribution bet

A 463-room hotel without a global loyalty programme has to fill rooms through tour operators, online travel agents and groups. That suits Nha Trang, where South Korea alone supplied about 40% of the city’s international visitors in the first half of 2026, according to provincial figures. It also means Annova’s rates move with those channels and with a few source markets.

2. The F&B and events mix is built for groups, not conferences

Six outlets, VIP dining rooms and karaoke point to banqueting, group dinners and leisure groups. A 300 square metre ballroom for about 200 theatre-style is small for 463 rooms. Our view: Annova competes for incentive groups and weddings, not large conferences.

3. A target for brand and management offers

Large, new, independent five-stars in Vietnam’s resort cities are the obvious targets for franchise and conversion offers from international groups, as the franchised Best Western Premier Marvella on Tran Phu shows. Whether Hoang An keeps Annova independent is worth watching for anyone pricing a similar project.
